经查，这应该时GNOME或者X的库和Spoon集成的浏览器不能一起工作导致的。所以需要编辑（或创建）～/.kettle/.spoonrc，并在里面输入以下内容：
ShowWelcomePageOnStartup=N
在此之后，Kettle能正常运行！
