  HERSHEY, Pa., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of the Hershey Center for Applied Research (HCAR) announced on September 26, 2007, that Edward Paukovits has been appointed to the board. Mr. Paukovits joins six board members and three board advisors.

Mr. Paukovits presently serves as president of Integrated BioSciences, Inc., (), a Unilife Medical Solutions Company. Unilife is a global developer and manufacturer of medical devices. He also serves as chairman of Assistive Technology Products, Inc. Mr. Paukovits began his career with AMP, Inc. where he served for 19 years. He then went on to be a founder/director and treasurer of the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania and president and chairman of Synergistech, Inc.
